We rolled out Viva Insights in our company and took a two step and then two streamed approach. We piloted MyAnalytics in the IT organization first to fully understand what it was (and more importantly what it is not!). There were several reasons for this, (i) this enabled us to plan the marketing and launch of the service, and (ii) this gave us the information we needed to discuss with the various Unions / Works Councils we have in the company. This took some time. There were lots of questions about privacy and 'is it a management spying / management performance management tool? [which would be illegal in some of our countries] questions. You have to have the conversations and joint discussions to resolve those fears. This took several months. In Germany the works council approved Viva insights but wanted the employee to opt-in, rather than it be enabled for all, and the employee have to 'opt-out' if this is a service they do not want to use. So when we rolled out - we took two approaches - opt-in approach in Germany ; opt-out approach outside of Germany. As a global company you will probably have to be flexible I guess.
