Hi.

I'm new to Viva Insights. I don't have admin rights, but have been provided with reports downloaded from the app. I want to be able to get an accurate view of an average day for employees at different levels of our organisation. I need to speak with someone about the various metrics reported and really understand what each is telling me and how I can use it all to build that picture. Any advice? Please

Hi @Jaycee1502

Is there a team/Centre of Excellence (CoE) within your organization who is responsible for maintaining/analyzing Viva Insights currently? If yes, you should chat to them - if no, you should chat to relevant people within your IT/HR departments to establish this as soon as possible.

While the metrics gathered are universal, and the interpretation of these metrics can be generalized, the context and application must come from within the organization. There is no "one size fits all" approach - what works or looks right for one, may not apply to another. Hence the importance of a CoE within your company.

With regards to the report that you've extracted - are you able to provide an idea of which report this is? It may help the community in assisting with guidance/explanation for things that may seem vague. Also handy, is this link (Advanced insights metric descriptions | Microsoft Learn) - which breaks down most of the metrics and how they are calculated.

Hope that helps!

Hi Jaycee

I suggest find the learning tab here in the forums and with that might be helpful because as Dazza said it´s difficult to help you without the context.
