I have some questions about the metrics written below. Please let me know.

Advanced insights metric descriptions (hereafter called "Document")

https://learn.microsoft.com/ja-jp/viva/insights/use/metric-definitions

Please explain the meaning of the metric.
•Person metrics
- Call hours: Does the call time include the Teams meeting?
- Channel reactions: Please tell me the definition of reaction. Is it the number of "likes" and "♡" sent to posts and replies? (Wouldn't replying in a channel count as a reaction?)
- Instant message hours: Please tell us the definition of time spent on IM. Is it the time from opening IM to switching screens? Is it the time to hit IM and send it?
- Manager coaching hours 1 on 1:Will this metric be 0 hours if I do not conduct 1on1 with all my subordinates?
Or will it show the total number of hours spent in 1on1 with subordinates?
- Multitasking meeting hours:I don't understand the meaning of "If less than an hour in length, the calculation is two emails or more sent per meeting", so please tell me the details.
- Open 1 hour block: Is the number of blocks the focus time? Does it mean that the schedule is blocked by the focus time? Or does it include appointments that are blocked for an hour by writing "block" on the calendar?
- Teams with active engagement: What does "during the aggregation period of the query" mean?

1. Call hours: No that would be meeting hours:

Meeting hours Number of hours the person spent in meetings with at least one other person during and outside of working hours.

2. Channel reactions: Yes your understanding is correct - this metric refers to the number of reactions (likes, hearts, laughs, surprised, sad, angry). Replies are not considered reactions.

3. Instant message hours: I am checking with product team for this.

4. Manager coaching hours 1 on 1: I am checking with the product team for this too.

5. Multitasking meeting hours: If a meeting is less than 1 hour in length, a person will be considered to be multitasking (and add to their multitasking meeting hours total) if they send 2 or more emails during that meeting.

6. Open 1 hour block: If a person blocks their calendar for focus time it won't change this because a meeting must have 2 participants minimum to be counted as meeting time. Open 1 hour block does not include appointments that are blocked for an hour by writing "block" on the calendar.

7. Teams with active engagement: The aggreegation period of the query is the timespan that you are analyzing. ie looking at the past 12 weeks X number of teams had active engagement, or looking at October x number of teams had active engagement.

For question 4 - manager coaching hours 1 on 1: the metric is calculated from the employee's perspective

If part of your team met 1:1 with you, the metric would reflect that.

About this answer. "1. Call hours: No that would be meeting hours: "

It means that calls are not included in Call, but what does "scheduled calls" mean in "The number of hours that a person spent in scheduled and unscheduled calls through Teams with at least one other person, during and outside of working hours."

For question 4 - manager coaching hours 1 on 1: the metric is calculated from the employee's perspective

If part of your team met 1:1 with you, the metric would reflect that.
