Individual Metrics

Hi Everyone.

About Viva Insight, whether we can get the metrics of individuals, such as: does this employee have collaborations in this week or not, this user have any meeting during this week or not ?

Please help me, I cant find that information in document.

Viva Insights uses de-identification of personally identifiable data in order to maintain data privacy and protection. You can read more about this here: De-identification of personal data in Viva Insights | Microsoft Docs

The intention of Viva Insights is not to see individual patterns but rather aggregated patterns across a group or team, identifying opportunity areas within those groups. You will also notice that groups less than 5/10 (dependent on your tenant/custom report settings) are excluded from reporting, supporting this de-identification process. Individuals are able to see their "Personal Insights", but this information is only visible by themselves. Personal insights introduction | Microsoft Docs

Thanks alot for your help.

If we use Organization Data File which includes Staff ID, whether we can track the individual metrics, because Insight just de-identifies for email address only.

Hi @JackieLe21, 

That is correct, this is technically possible.

However this does mean that it changes the default privacy and data protection policy on Viva Insights, and your organization would probably need to follow the relevant internal processes to obtain buy-in from employees on individualized analysis.

Where is custom report settings for #of users? In our lab tenant we have 5 users with Viva license, and we are having issues with Workplace Analytics - not working. Showing Provisioning for many days.

And Microsoft Viva Insights (office.com) page greyed out with "It looks like we were unable to find enough activity in Microsoft 365 the past few weeks. Please check back next week for your insights." message at top.

You can check the privacy settings by clicking on: "Analyst Settings", then the "Privacy" tab - you should be able to see the below:
