Person query - missing metrics!

Hi, on the metrics definitions MS Docs page (Metric definitions | Microsoft Docs) the following channel-metrics for Person queries are explained. Unfortunately, when creating a new Person query in Workplace Analytics, these channel-metrics are not in the drop down list. Does anyone else has this experience? Can someone please help me out? We urgently need these insights to compare it to email usage/habits.

Hopeful regards,

Hi @PieterODB, our engineering team has informed me that they turned Channel Metrics back on for the tenant you sent me via DM and they re-ran the collab pipeline. Let me know if that was fixed on your end.

HI @PieterODB, this behavior is a bug. Are you still experiencing this? If so, please send me a direct message with your tenant information and I will submit a ticket to engineering to get this looked at and addressed.

Thanks you for your reply, @Jake_Caddes . Upon your request I have sent you the tenant information as the metrics still are missing in the Person query.

Thank you very much @Jake_Caddes for the good follow-up and actions taken. It seems like the metrics are now available in the Person query designer. We have not yet tested it thourougly, but if somethings seems off, we will let you know!

@Jake_Caddes Could you please investigate whether it's normal that for channel metrics only figures show up in our queries as of November 2021? All other metrics go back 13 months (as they all should).

Otherwise, we could not compare historical channel-based metrics with other metrics over time. This is crucial.

HI @PieterODB, I have submitted your followup question to engineering. They will investigate - hang tight. I will get back to you as soon as I get an answer for you.

Dear Jake, do you have an update on this matter please?

Hi @PieterODB, I apologize I didn't get back to you sooner. Engineering said this: the Teams Channel feature was launched in month of Sep and this signal has a retention period of 1 month, not 13 months. Hence, we should enable our customers to process around 3-4 months of Teams Channel data to run queries on.
However, the feature was turned off for this tenant by someone but they re-ran the collab pipeline and will processed over 3 months of teams channel data for this tenant.

You should now be able to run queries dating back to September to see insights about Teams Channel data. Let me know if this isn't the case.
