Hello! I am looking through the documentation to see what happens when you remove licenses from employees, i.e. not measuring them anymore. I found information on https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/viva/insights/setup/assign-licenses-to-population that:
"Employees in your organization who are not licensed for analysis but might collaborate with your measured employees, through meetings, email, unscheduled calls, or instant messages, are called other internal collaborators."
1. If we remove a license from an earlier measured employee, would it for future data be referred to as "other internal collaborator"?
2 What happens with the data that was gathered when the employee was measured? Does it also convert historical data about the employee to "Other Internal Collaborator", or does the employee appear in the dataset until the point in time when the license was removed, and after that named "Other Internal Collaborator"?
Best regards,
David

Hi David,
Please refer to this documentation about license removal: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/viva/insights/privacy/license-expiration#data-retention-after-a-lic...
1. Yes, they would be categorized as an internal collaborator moving forward.
2. The data that was gathered while the employee was licensed is kept as is (if part of Sales, the historical sales data does not remove X employee).
