Can you create an auto-refresh Odata connection to a non MS data viz platform

Can you create an auto-refresh Odata connection to a non MS data viz platform like Tableau. I have already created a connected to Power BI. I know that there are R packages for WPA but it would seem odd to have these R packages but still require the user to download csv of a WPA query results and then upload that into R. Can we make an Odata connection directly to R or any other data processing or viz platform? Thank you, C

Hi @cody_martin, I will look into this but my gut reaction is that most likely there isn't a direct Odata connection. Power BI is a MSFT product and thus building an integration can be done internally. On the other hand Tableau is an external product, like you said, so the integration process for an Odata feed would likely take more development hours and effort to build. I'll let you know what I find.
